The Housemates, in a very genuine and passionate way took turns in reading portions of the pledge.
The pledge is a plea to world leaders to meet the millennium development goals to be achieved by 2015. It is also to tell the world leaders that people across the world will not allow the poor to suffer unjustly for the economic, food and climate crisis.
When they were finished with the pledge, Kevin took charge to lead the Housemates in their rap song. Kaone played the guitar, Edward and Leonel, played the percussions, Emma sang lead with everybody else singing in chorus, as Kevin, Itai and celebrity guest The Dogg rapped about how to defeat poverty.
The Big Brother Housemates want the world to Stand Up and take Action against extreme poverty.
