Deal or No Deal is game show where contestants can win up to USD100 000. It’s a battle between you and the banker – you want One Hundred Thousand Dollars and he wants to buy back your suitcase! 26 mystery suitcases hold anything from one cent to one hundred thousand US Dollars and are opened one by one by a bevy of gorgeous models. The key question contestants need to answer is whether to take the banker’s offer or play on with the game in the hope of being a big winner! The game is all about making the right decision. It’s all about risk. Can the contestant call the banker’s bluff? Can the contestant keep their cool and get through five rounds? Will they make a good deal or a lousy one? Will they play on and end up with nothing?

M-Net has invested heavily in creating content in Sub-Saharan Africa. The largest subscriber base outside of South Africa has been in Nigeria and hence it makes sense for M-Net to invest in its biggest markets. Nigeria has therefore been targeted for investment hence the introduction of a dedicated show for this region.
