Two panties for three weeks, that's the most scary part...
Metasebia Yilma is a soft spoken young woman who holds true to her values and is proud to be representing Ethiopian on this pan-African show...
Why did you enter Survivor Africa? Meti: For so many reasons, the major reason is I really love adventure. I like trying different things. I like to take opportunities. And the other thing is I really like TV production. I'm planning to have my own talk show so I'm trying to get into different types of productions so that I can get an idea how I can go about my own show and also because it will give me a chance to travel because I love traveling.
What about the challenge of Survivor scares you the most? Meti: Actually what I think is scary is that I got an e-mail about the things I should bring to the island and a bra and two panties for three weeks, oh my god. That's the most scary part.
Why will you win? Meti: I'll win because I'm systematic, because I planned how to play it safe and how to take the right direction toward the 100 000. I think I will win because I can make the other contestants like me and not vote me out.
Are you going to use the same values and principles that you use in life in the game? Meti: Yes, this is a reflection of life and my values got me all the way here and I'm very comfortable with them.
What comforts are you going to miss most? Meti: A hot Shower.
What are you going to do with the $ US 100 000 prize if you win? Meti: I'll start my own talk show back in Ethiopia. I have my business plan written and it almost costs US$100 000, a little less…that's the cost for the first 6 months, unless I get another sponsor. I'll also start my own business.
